ACEL 2026 – Value Creation & Governance Lab

Co-designing Solutions and Delivery Infrastructure

Follow-up Contributions

Help shape what comes next

Thank you for participating in the Africa Creative Economy Lens (ACEL) 2026 Value Creation & Governance Lab.

The Lab brings together creative-sector professionals, intermediary organisations, public institutions and other ecosystem stakeholders to examine how Botswana's creative economy creates value, where essential functions are weak, missing or insufficiently connected, and how these can be strengthened.

Your contribution is pivotal to co-designing practical solutions and the delivery infrastructure needed to make a tangible difference to Botswana's creative economy.

Drawing on your institutional experience and knowledge of the wider ecosystem, we invite you to further develop ideas, propose practical solutions and identify opportunities for collaboration within the functional systems most relevant to your work.

This form provides additional space to build on the Lab discussions, considering which functions need strengthening, how they could work better, and which actors, relationships and coordination mechanisms are needed to turn solutions into concrete results.

Your contributions will directly inform the synthesis of the Lab's findings and the development of potential collaborative solutions, delivery arrangements and follow-up actions for further consideration by relevant stakeholders.

Your follow-up contribution

Share a name and email address or phone number for follow-up.

Which functional system are you contributing to?

Select all that apply.

Which functions are essential for your selected system to support creative-sector value creation? Which are currently weak, missing or insufficiently connected?

What practical changes, services, mechanisms or collaborative approaches could strengthen the priority functions you have identified? Where possible, describe specific interventions rather than general recommendations.

Which institutions, organisations or other actors should be involved? What could each contribute, and what relationships or coordination arrangements would be necessary?

Is there an existing initiative, service, partnership or mechanism that could be strengthened or connected to others? What would be a realistic starting point?

Please provide links or references that could inform this proposal, where relevant.

Any other ideas you would like to share.

Before submitting, review the shared resources (opens in a new tab). Responses are saved to the Lab's Google Form.

Deadline: Monday, 19 October 2026, 4:00 PM Botswana time.
